RVC Softball is off to a solid start to the 2022 season opening up the year with a 13-5 record after playing against some of the best NJCAA teams in the country regardless of the division level.

This past week saw the Golden Eagles win both of their games against NJCAA DII Black Hawk CC on Wednesday. 13-0 in 5 inning and 11-1 in 5 inning. Maddy Carlson and Hannah Hockerman both would record W's in the circle. Jenna Green and Bella Crimaldi would record HRs.

On Thursday RVC would split with NJCAA DII Danville CC. In game one RVC would fall by way of a score 6-7. Game two the Golden Eagles would flip the switch and win by way of run rule and a score of 12-2. Hannah Hockerman would record the win in the circle and Bella Crimaldi would send one deep over the wall for the Golden Eagles.

Today the Golden Eagles have their home opener against NJCAA DII Waubonsee today on the beautiful campus of Rock Valley College. First pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 2pm.
