Men's Basketball is on a five game winning streak after winning three games this past week. The Golden Eagles are now 18-8 on the season with one regular season game left to play. Milwaukee Area Tech travels to Rockford on Tuesday to wrap up the regular season. Region IV tournament will begin on Friday, Rock Valley will host the semi-final game at 7pm.

2/8 vs Madison
The Golden Eagles got out to an early lead against Madison and never looked back. Their stifling defense allowed them to build a 36 to 18 half time lead. The Golden Eagle defense would hold Madison to 29% shooting from the floor and 10% from the 3pt line. RVC would go on to win the game 78-51. Aleksa Markovic would lead all scores with 26pts on 8-11 shooting. Malik Marshall chipped in 15pts in the effort.

2/10 vs Harper
Rock Valley traveled to Palatine, IL and came away with a 29pt victory over Harper College. Chris Burnell posted a double double with 15pts and 10asts. Aleksa Markovic had 25pts on 8-13 shooting. Malik Marshall added 19pts, Nick Pierson scored 11pts and Jackson Copley also reached double digits with 10pts.

2/11 vs Rockford University JV
Rock Valley had a late season non-conference match up on Friday. The Golden Eagles took the lead early and entered halftime with a 20pt lead. That lead would shrink to as little as 8pts in the second half before the Golden Eagles regrouped and defeated the Regents 78-65. Malik Marshall had 20pts and 8rebs to lead the team. Chris Burnell would score 13pts and dish out 5asts. Nick Pierson would reach double digits with 13pts.
