The Golden Eagles move to 4-0 on the season.
"We have a young and relatively inexperienced group, we need to figure out how to consistently play well for 40 minutes," stated Head Women's Basketball Coach
Darryl Watkins "I like the way we responded to adversity, it was good for us to be challenged on the road where we did not play our best basketball, but we showed some toughness and togetherness, and got the job done."
Rockford, IL native Karley Colson had a strong game and was a spark with 14 points, off the bench. To round out double digit scoring Elli Teubert with 12 points and Maya Mitchell had 11 points. Bre'Najah Davis misses a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
