Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Golden Eagles dropped two games at the Emerson Classic in Marshalltown, IA. On Friday, Rock Valley faced off against the host Marshalltown. The Golden Eagles came out on the losing end of that match up in a hard fought game, 66-60. Down double digits at half time the Golden Eagles would battle back to cut the game to one score at 60-58. However the late game push was not enough. Blessing Nowtite led the team in scoring with 15pts, Kenneth Garth was in double digits with 10pts. On day two of the Emerson Classic, the Golden Eagles were matched up against #10 Iowa Lakes CC. This was the 3rd game out of five that the Golden Eagles played a Top 20 team. Rock Valley would come up on the short end yet again in a 9 point loss, 86-77. Armond Williams led the team with 16pts, George Williams and Blessing Nwotite both added 15pts. Kenneth Garth also reached double digits with 12pts.

Rock Valley is back in action on Tuesday against Elgin CC at 7pm. The game will be played at the PEC on the campus of Rock Valley College.
