Did You Know? Riverland will be the second consecutive road season opener for RVC. The Golden Eagles opened 2021 back in April in Palatine (L, 0-3) versus #6 Harper College. Riverland is only the third different team to face the Golden Eagles to open a season. RVC has opened against either Elgin Community College and McHenry County (three times each) from 2014-2019.

Rock Valley College is 4-3-0 lifetime in season openers. Head coach Tim Romanello is 1-1.
