Rockford, IL- #3 RVC Women's Basketball comes away with its eleventh straight win Saturday afternoon 74-69 over NJCAA DII Milwaukee Area Tech College. The Golden Eagles improve to 21-6 overall and (11-0) in N4C.
RVC was in a back and forth battle with the Stormers all game. The Golden Eagles built their lead up to 20 points midway through the 3
rd quarter before the Stomers would battle back late in the 4
th quarter to tie the game with 1 minute left in regulation before 5 free-throws were put in between Malcomson, Neal and Nitz to ice the game.
The Golden Eagles saw five players score in double figures. The Golden Eagles were led by freshman'sÂ
Hannah Malcomson (23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assist, 5 steals), andÂ
Maria Hilby (13 points, 6 rebounds) and sophomore'sÂ
Carson Nitz (11 points, 12 rebounds), and
Samantha Harris (11 points, 9 rebounds).
