The men's team got back in the win column last night with a 92-86 victory over the Joliet Wolves. The Golden Eagles trailed by 14 early in the first half, the Wolves came out hot from the 3pt line. The Golden Eagles however they would make their own run to tie the game at half 48-48. The second half would be a battle all the way to the buzzer as the Golden Eagles pulled out the victory.Â
The Golden Eagles had contributions across the board in all categories.
Michael McDermott led the team in scoring with 22 points and chipped in 7 rebounds.
Brayden Hennis with another double-double on the year, finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds & 8 assists.
Ja'Quan Chestnut (13pts),
Charles Burnell (12pts) and
Nick Phillips (14pts) all scored double digits in the win. Burnell also added 8 assists to his stat line.
