The Golden Eagles used a big second half to pull away from the Chaparrals of DuPage. Heading into the break the Golden Eagles held a 20-16 lead. Poor shooting and some tough defense were key factors in the first half. The Golden Eagles opened up the offense in the second half scoring 37 points and cruising to a 57-30 victory. 

The Golden Eagles were led by Ja'Quan Chestnut with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Nick Pierson added 10 points to the effort.
