Box Score Milwaukee, WI- #4 RVC Women's Basketball comes away with a big road win Wednesday night 73-54 over Milwaukee Area Technical College. The Golden Eagles improve to 15-6 overall and (5-0) in N4C play to stand alone in first place.
The Golden Eagles earned a big road win against the Stormers on Wednesday evening. "We executed our game plan last night. We won the rebounding battle, we won the 50/50 plays, we shot over 70% as a team from the free-throw line, and we controlled the tempo the entire game." Stated Watkins.
The Golden Eagles would trail only for the first 2 minutes of the game before taking the lead and never looking back controlling the rest of the game. "Our ladies were dialed in from start to finish in this game. They knew what was on the line with taking over sole possession of the N4C conference race." Stated Watkins "The game was within single digits before we went on our final run to pull away with a commanding win." The Stormers would cut the Golden Eagles 10 point halftime lead to 4 points before RVC would eventually go on a 24-11 run to finish the game and pull away for good.
The Golden Eagles for the second straight game saw 6 of its players (Malcomson, Kershner, Harris, Nitz, Neal, and Hilby) score from 8-21 points and 6 of its player grab 6-10 rebounds (Vann, Harris, Hilby, Nitz, Malcomson, and Kershner). The Golden Eagles were led by freshman'sÂ

Rock Valley College heads home for a N4C match up. The game will be themed as a GOLD OUT and feature the RVC Softball team receiving their National Championship rings. RVC will match up against NJCAA DIII Harper College on Saturday January 18
