RVC 71Â - Â Moberly 88
In the first game of the day RVC fell to Moberly 88-71 in hard fought game against the Greyhounds who are receiving votes nationally at the D1 level. The Golden Eagles saw a 42-34 half time lead disappear into the pressure of the Greyhounds. The 13 second half turnovers proved to be too much to overcome for the Golden Eagles. Ja'Quan Chestnut had 23pts and 13rbs and Brayden Hennis added 17pts, 5rbs and 6ast. "We had some guys step up and make plays all game, really proud of how our guys competed for about 32-33 minutes of this game. Their pressure in the end finally got to us and wore us down", Bredehoeft said about the matchup against Moberly.

RVC 68Â -Â Sauk Valley 58
In the second game of the day the Golden Eagles were paired up against the Skyhawks of Sauk Valley. "This was a complete gut check for both teams, playing their second games of the day we knew it would come down to toughness. At the end of the day we found a little more left in the bottom of our tanks", head coach Tyler Bredehoeft said about their second game in 6hrs. Brayden Hennis paced the team with 20 first half points and finished the game with a career high 30pts and added 10rbs for another double-double on the season.
