Box Score 1 The RVC Women's Basketball jumped back in the win column after back to back games this week against Morton College and Olive Harvey College improving their record to 9-3 on the season.

"It's good to get back on the winning side of things after dropping two straight." stated Head Women's Basketball Coach Darryl Watkins. We had to get back to the basics and fundamentals that were getting the job done for us, we focused this past week on playing Rock Valley basketball."

The Golden Eagles would face Morton College to start in a 82-66 game. A game which saw 4 ladies reach double figures Samantha Harris, Carson Nitz, Hannah Malcomson, and Marissa Kershner. Kershner led everyone in the game on the night with 20 points. "It was good to get Kersh back to hitting shots, she has was in a little slump, so for her to see it finally go through the rim I think it was a reliever" says Watkins.

Thursday's match up took the Golden Eagles to the city of Chicago where they would face off against Olive Harvey. RVC would jump out to a commanding 29-0 first quarter lead and would never look back. The Golden Eagles would control the game from start to finish. "We battled a little bit of adversity during this game in which I feel like our ladies officially became a family tonight, this was a turning point I feel like for the season." stated Watkins.
The Golden Eagles were led by Carson Nitz with 23 points and 11 rebounds, Hannah Malcomson, Marissa Kershner, and Alexcia Neal (10 steals) with 16 points each, Makayli Vann with 13 points, Samantha Harris with 11 points 10 rebounds, and Maria Hilby to round off double digit scoring with 10 points.
