The RVC Men's Basketball team picked up their first win of the season and the first of Tyler Bredehoeft 's career. The Golden Eagles defeated UW-Sheboygan 98-66 on Saturday to move to 1-3 on the year.
"Our guys came out and executed offensively and defensively to the game plan that we drew up. It was nice to see us shoot the ball well again, something we have struggled with early so far," said Bredehoeft. "We just need to continue to get better; our focus has been on the defensive side of the ball. If we can continue to improve defensively we have a chance".
The Golden Eagles saw six players score in double figures. Michael McDermott had a team high 17pts on 7 of 10 shooting. McDermott also lead all players in rebounds with 12. Ja'Quan Chestnut (11pts & 11rbs) and Brayden Hennis (16pts & 10rbs) recorded double-doubles alongside McDermott.
