M-Basketball: #6 Golden Eagles Take Care of DuPage
Box Score #6 Rock Valley College Men's Basketball led from start to finish to win at College of DuPage 76-62. The victory moves the Golden Eagles to 22-5 overall, and 7-4 in N4C play.
"We had some stretches where I feel like we really looked good," said Head Men's Basketball Coach
Evan Lavery. "I think for a majority of the game, we defended well. We need to continue to focus on execution of our offensive actions, and playing with a sense of urgency on the defensive end."
RVC led 43-26 heading into halftime, and led by as much as 25 points in the second half. The Golden Eagles outrebounded DuPage 42-31 in the ball game. RVC also shot higher percentages from the field, the three-point line, and the free throw line.
DeMari Davis led all scorers with 17 points. He also added 9 rebounds.
Malique Ross (14) and
Rico Duncan (12) also recorded double figure scoring.
Elijah Pappas added a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with his 8 points.
