W-Basketball: Golden Eagles Earn Big Wins Over Nationally Ranked Madison and Joliet
Box Score Rock Valley College Women's Basketball pieced together their biggest week of the season, earning victories at Madison College 79-64 (RV in NJCAA DIII) and against Joliet (#5 NJCAA DIII) 92-66. The Golden Eagles improved to 11-12 overall, and 7-1 in N4C play.
"This was a huge week for our ladies," said
Misty Opat, Head Women's Basketball Coach. "Not only did we pick up 2 big wins, but we gave ourselves positive momentum moving forward. We are starting to see a direct correlation in having great practices and how it translates into games for high level performances. We need to keep building as we push towards an opportunity to win a N4C championship."

Madi Hecox poured in 20 points, while

Hecox scores 29 points, while Haylen Sorensen records a career-high 18 points.
Jessie Schiro added 10 points in the winning effort.
