Box Score Behind a very strong effort in the third quarter, RVC Women's Basketball cruised to a 71-49 win at NJCAA DII Triton College. The Golden Eagles improve to 5-1 in conference play - tied for first place with Milwaukee Tech and Madison College.

Only up 32-25 at halftime, RVC dominated the third quarter, outscoring the host Trojans 22-4 over those 10 minutes. The strong third quarter appeared to be more than enough to push the Golden Eagles over the hump. RVC's defensive effort was strong throughout the game, forcing 24 Triton turnovers.

"We came out of halftime with a strong sense of urgency," said Misty Opat, Head Women's Basketball Coach. "We have a talented team. If we can figure out how to own that sense of urgency for the entire game, we can reach our potential as a team."

Madi Hecox recorded a double-double with team highs in points (15) and rebounds (10). Madison Vicencio scored a season-high 13 points on 6-7 shooting off the bench in the winning effort.
