Box Score #6 Rock Valley College Women's Basketball lost on the road at Milwaukee Area Technical College on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles fall to 8-12 overall, and 4-1 in N4C play.

"We had plenty chances to get the job done, but ultimately, we came up short," said Misty Opat, Head Women's Basketball Coach. "We dug ourselves a hole early, but managed to climb out of it. We were able to take the lead, but unable to expand upon it. Road games in college basketball are tough. You have to be able to bring it."

The Golden Eagle offense shot a chilly 28-71 (39.4%) from the field, 5-24 (20.8%) from the three-point line, and 11-22 (50%) from the free throw line. Plagued by cold shooting and turnovers (22), RVC found themselves in a one possession game down the stretch. The Golden Eagles executed for clean looks, but the shots did not connect. Kalea Kruser led the way with another double-double (19 points, 12 rebounds). Madi Hecox (15), Hayley Sorenson (11), and Jessie Schiro (10) all reached double figures for RVC.
