Volleyball: RVC Wins at Joliet
RVC Volleyball picked up a road win at Joliet 3-1 on Thursday evening by scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, and 25-14. RVC is now 12-12 overall.
"We started off sluggish but found a way to regroup," stated Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa King. "With a couple players out, we had some ladies play expanded roles. Once they settled in, we were able to play some quality volleyball. We will need more of that as we head into the stretch run of the season."
Mallory Hecox (East HS) led the team in kills with 13, while
Danielle Pendzinski (Winnebago HS) added 12.
Salina Oudomsouk (Jefferson HS) and
Kaitlin Sadkowski (Belvidere North HS) both contributed 19 digs to the winning effort.
