M-Soccer: RVC Wins Again, Takes Down Illinois Valley CC
RVC Men's Soccer picked up their second straight win, defeating Illinois Valley Community College 3-1 at home on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Eagles are 6-2-1 overall in the 2017 season.
"We started off slow, but eventually got things going," stated Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "Once we got rolling, we played pretty well. We only had one significant defensive lapse, and to no surprise, Illinois Valley capitalized. I feel like we are improving each game as a unit, and it is fun to watch."
Jesse Hurder (32nd minute),
Luis DeLeon (49th minute), and Luis Marquez (72nd) all scored for Rock Valley College.
