M-Soccer: RVC Moves to 3-0 with Win Over Milwaukee Tech
In their N4C opener, RVC Men's Soccer came away with a 3-2 victory over Milwaukee Area Technical College. The win moves the Golden Eagles to 3-0 overall, and 1-0 in N4C play.
"I am proud of my guys," said Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "For the first time this season, we got to react to an opponent scoring on us. Rather than hanging our heads, we never surrendered the lead for the entire match. We stuck to our game plan and did what we needed to in order to beat a tough Milwaukee Tech team."
Alt Flores and
Luis DeLeon both scored in the first half as RVC took a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Antonio Reyes found the back of the net in the 74th minute to provide the insurance goal the Golden Eagles needed to secure the win. Milwaukee Tech scored in the 82nd minute, but RVC was able to hold on to finish the match.
