M-Soccer: Golden Eagles Race Past McHenry
Fresh off Friday's win against Elgin Community College, the Golden Eagles had little time to prep for their match against McHenry County College. Rock Valley came out of the gates fast and furious, taking a quick 1-0 after
Alt Flores found the back of the net. That was the first of 3 first half goals, and 6 goals total as the Golden Eagles took care of the Scots 6-0 on Monday night.
"I like the way we came out aggressive an put the pressure on them," said Head Men's Soccer CoachÂ
Frank Horvat. "I think that we did a better job tonight playing a more complete game from start to finish. Once again, we got a quality effort from our defense. We will need more of that as we have two N4C matches this week that will really show us what we are made of."

John Garza II found the back of the net twice in the first half.
Luis DeLeon,
Antonio Reyes, and
Cesar Hernandez scored in the second half to round out the Golden Eagle attack.
