"Our defensive effort was good all night long," stated Head Men's Basketball Coach
Evan Lavery. "We did not do our job at College of DuPage the first time we played them. We wanted to make a conscious effort to make them work for every basket they got. For the most part, we did that. In the last 30 minutes of the game, we resembled a college basketball program on the offensive end of the floor, hit some shots, and that fueled us even more defensively."
The Golden Eagles were led by
Alec Pena (14 points, 7 rebounds),
Jace Kitchen (14 points, 5 rebounds), and
DeMari Davis (13 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks).
