Golden Eagles Suffer Loss to #1 NJCAA DII Triton College
Rock Valley lost to #1 NJCAA DII Triton College 91-80 on Wednesday night in River Grove, IL… Rock Valley played a good first half defensively leading 38-33 at the break… After halftime the Golden Eagles took a 10-point lead with 9 minutes to play, but Triton battled back to tie the game late… Triton's late push sprung them to a 91-80 victory, ending the Golden Eagle win streak at 5 games… Rock Valley was led by
Alec Pena (Rockton, IL) who finished with 24 points and 9 rebounds…
Jace Kitchen (DeKalb, IL) gave RVC 18 points, shooting 6-7 from three-point land…
Dalton Menke (Winnebago, IL) and
