RVC started out the second half with back-to-back three-point field goals from Alec Pena and Malique Ross to force a Milwaukee Tech timeout. The Golden Eagles strong play through offensive efficiency and strong defense allowed RVC to outscore the Stormers 48-25 in the second half. The Golden Eagles shot 18-37 (48.6%) from the field and held Milwaukee Tech to 8-24 (33.3%) after the break. RVC managed to dish out 21 assists on 33 made field goals.

"We played some great basketball in the second half," stated Head Men's Basketball Coach Evan Lavery. "It is not that we played awful in the first half, but we did some things that complicated winning the basketball game. In the second half, we shared the ball better and really focused on not blowing any defensive assignments. The guys really responded after the break and got after on both sides of the floor."

Six Golden Eagles notched double figure scoring, led by 24 points from Alec Pena (Rockton, IL). Jace Kitchen (DeKalb, IL) scored 14 points. Elijah Pappas (13), Dalton Menke (12), Malique Ross (11), and DeMari Davis (10) rounded out the Golden Eagle scoring attack. Davis also ripped down 12 rebounds to earn his second consecutive double-double. He also added 4 blocked shots.
