Box Score Behind a career high of 29 points from Chicago native Darius Branch, #8 Rock Valley College Men's Basketball won 94-70 over NJCAA DII College of Lake County. The win pushes the Golden Eagles to a perfect 8-0 in The Nest during non-conference play, and 12-1 overall.

"Anytime you can shoot over 50% from the field, 40% from three-point range, and over 80% from the free throw line, you like your chances of winning," said Head Men's Basketball Coach Evan Lavery. "Like in any game we play, there are some areas for improvement. We need to continue to lock in on a daily basis with the intention of getting a little bit better individually and as a group."

Branch's big night was very efficient, scoring 29 points on only 13 field goal attempts. The Leo High School graduate was 7-13 from the field (6-12 from three-point range) and 9-10 from the free throw line. DeAnte Barnes added his second double-double in three games, recording 13 points and hauling in 10 rebounds.
