Box Score RVC Women's Basketball fell at home 102-75 to the hands of NJCAA DII Moraine Valley Community College. The Cyclones shot 55.6% from the field for the game.

The Golden Eagles hung around in the first half, trailing only by 9 points to enter the intermission. Freshman Madi Hecox (Rockford, IL) led the scoring attack with 16 points. Moraine Valley came out firing on all cylinders in the second half, scoring 60 points after the break to put the game out of reach.

"We have a lot of youth and it is showing early on," stated Head Women's Basketball Coach Misty Opat. "It is early, and we are working to find rotations that put us in a situation to be successful. We have the talent, but until we cut down on unforced turnovers, and defend and rebound at a high level, we will struggle."

Hecox finished the game with 30 points, leading all scorers. Sophomore Emily Cox (Erie, IL) added 12 points.
