W-Basketball: RVC Handles McHenry County College
Box Score RVC Women's Basketball wasted no time getting after McHenry County College. The Golden Eagles took a 23-13 advantage after the first quarter and did not look back, cruising to an 82-59 win on the road. The Golden Eagles improve to 2-3 overall.
"We got off to a great start," said Head Women's Basketball Coach,
Misty Opat. "We were able to get some steals early (21 total) in our press that allowed us to get a couple easy baskets. We had many solid contributions across the board. We are still a work in progress, but we took a step forward tonight."
The Golden Eagles were fueled by Trevonna Dyer, who scored 20 points (10-11 FG) and snatched 4 steals. Madi Hecox had 17 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Q' Avery tallied 13 points off the bench in the winning effort.

RVC Women's Basketball travels to Freeport, IL to take on Highland Community College on Thursday, November 16th. Tip off is set for 5 PM.
