W-Basketball: #2 RVC Takes Down Triton at "Rumble in The Rock"
Box Score #2 RVC Women's Basketball stretched their winning streak to nine games on Saturday afternoon with an 86-63 win over Triton College. The Golden Eagles are now 19-3 overall and 6-0 in N4C play.
"Triton played us really hard," said Head Women's Basketball Coach
Misty Opat. "Even though they had a few players out, it was a tight ball game heading into the fourth quarter. I think our depth finally got to them. We crashed the offensive glass well, and kept our turnovers down while forcing 21 turnovers for Triton. We have a tough group of women. We need to keep working."
Jaycee Cleaver found her perimeter touch, torching the nets for six made three-point field goals. She finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Despite struggling from the field,
Tierra McGowan still finished with 18 points and 18 rebounds (12 offensive).
Chrisseesha Clark put together one of her most complete stat lines of the year with 15 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds.

#2 RVC takes on #3 NJCAA DIII Madison College on Wednesday, January 25th at 5:30 PM. The game will be played inside RVC's Physical Education Center.
