Volleyball: RVC Falls to #2 Madison
Box Score The tough schedule for RVC Volleyball continued as the Golden Eagles traveled to Madison College on Thursday. Madison came away with the win in 4 sets - 13-25, 19-25, 25-18, 19-25.
"Unfortunately, the match did not go the way we wanted tonight," stated Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa King. "We are at the point in the season where if things are not going the way we want, we have to switch stuff around. We went with a different line-up tonight and that will take time to adjust to. Credit goes to Madison, though. They are a really good volleyball team."
Freshman
Naomi Johnson led the team with 17 kills.
Jaycee Cleaver contributed 34 assists.
Cydney Long paced the defensive effort with 34 assists.
UP NEXT
RVC competes at the Harper College Invitational on Saturday, October 1st. They will play Elgin Community College at 10 AM, #1 Harper College at 12 PM, and McHenry County College at 2 PM.
