Volleyball: RVC Gets Win Over Jackson CC at Parkland Classic
RVC Volleyball picked up a win over Jackson CC (MI) in straight sets at the Parkland Classic - 25-17, 26-24, and 25-12. The Golden Eagles went 1-3 on the weekend overall.
"We played some of the best competition we will see all year this weekend," said Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa King. "Parkland is #2 in the NJCAA DII poll. Muskegon is receiving votes in the NJCAA DII poll. Our region is tough. Next week, we have Harper, who is #1 in NJCAA DIII, and Madison, who is #2 in NJCAA DIII. Both of those matches are on the road. Hopefully this competition helped prepare us a little bit better for what we will see not only next week, but come region tournament time as well."

Match #1 vs. Parkland College (IL)
The Cobras took down RVC in straight sets - 13-25, 14-25, and 13-25.
Match #2 vs. Muskegon CC (MI)
The Golden Eagles fell to Muskegon 3-1 - 21-25, 17-25, 25-22, and 20-25.
Match #3 vs. Vincennes University (IN)
The Trailblazers of Vincennes University beat RVC in straight sets - 25-19, 25-23, and 25-18.
Match #4 vs. Jackson CC (MI)
The Golden Eagles knocked off the Jets of Jackson CC - 25-17, 26-24, and 25-12

The Golden Eagles (7-9 overall) travel to Harper College (ranked #1 in NJCAA DIII) on Tuesday, September 27th. Match time is set for 6 PM in Palatine, IL.
