M-Soccer: Harper Sneaks Past RVC
RVC Men's Soccer hit the road to Palatine, IL to take on Harper College in a N4C match-up. Despite the Golden Eagles taking a 2-0 lead in the first half, Harper was able to scrape back into the game and pull off a 3-2 win in overtime.
"We played hard, stayed composed, and did a lot of nice things on the field," stated Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "It was unfortunate how the match turned out. Harper was just a little bit better tonight."
Jorge Merida and
Saul Vilchis found the back of the net for the RVC.
Antonio Reyes assisted the Merida goal, which was scored 36 seconds into the match.
