After a scoreless first half, RVC (3-0, 1-0 in N4C) was able to find its groove and handle Joliet Junior College on the road, 4-0.

"It is not that we were bad in the first half, but we definitely were not our best," said sophomore captain Erin DiSanti. "Going into the second half, we started to connect and make the plays we needed to. We fought through a slow first half and were able to get the win."

4 different Golden Eagles scored in the match (Gabby Solis, Sharlee Hofbauer, Kenzie Theien, and Gabby Solis). Theien, Maria Olivares, and Cecilia Magana contributed assists in the winning effort.

"Despite it being our first road match, as a team, we were able to work together and keep possession for most of the game," stated Belvidere North alum and sophomore captain Sharlee Hofbauer. "We definitely took another step in the right direction"
