Volleyball: Golden Eagles Drop Opener at Sauk Valley
A shorthanded RVC Volleyball team fell to NJCAA D2 opponent Sauk Valley Community College (Dixon, IL) in straight sets, 24-26, 15-25, and 17-25.
"Although we are injury plagued at the moment, the loss falls on us," stated Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa King. "We did not play our best tonight. Sauk Valley played a disciplined game at a faster pace than we have seen this preseason. The match presented us with plenty of teaching moments and we will come out stronger on Tuesday because of it."
Freshman DS/L
Gabriella Fiedler led the team with a passing percentage of 2.75. Sophomore MB
Eden Meier had the highest hitting percentage at .500.
