RVC falls to NJCAA D2 #3 Kirkwood
The Golden Eagles fell 9-1 to Kirkwood Community College at Rosemont Dome on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles were led by Olivia Fluehr's hitting. Fluehr went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. She homered in the second inning.
Taylor Nearad, Morgan Frost and Lexi Ferrari helped lead Kirkwood Community College. They combined for six hits and three RBIs.
The Golden Eagles scored their only run of the game on a solo home run by Fluehr in the second inning.
Kirkwood Community College never trailed after scoring seven runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Lexi Ferrari, an error, a groundout by Maddie Hansen, and three singles.Â
RVC is now 3-1 on the season.Â
