Misty Opat-led team is always playing their best basketball during the conference season and tournament time. The Rock Valley College women, who have won 3 of the last 4 national championships and came in national runner-up in the other year, are currently red hot.  RVC took down Milwaukee Tech by a score of 68-50 on Wednesday night in Rockford to extend their winning streak to six games.
Rock Valley jumped out to a 43-18 halftime lead en route to the convincing victory to avenge an 82-67 loss at Milwaukee earlier in the season, their only loss of the conference season. RVC currently holds sole possession of 1st place in the N4C conference as they improve to 18-6 (7-1 N4C).  Milwaukee falls to 13-10 (5-3 N4C).
