W-Basketball: RVC Falls at Highland CC
RVC Women's Basketball visited Highland Community College (Freeport, IL) and came up on the losing end 71-49. The Golden Eagles fall to 0-2 this season.
"We have a lot of young talent that needs to figure out what they need to do consistently in order for us to have success," said Head Women's Basketball Coach
Misty Opat. "Highland is long, athletic, and talented. Our schedule does not get any easier moving forward. We will get there."
The Golden Eagles were led by sophomores
Tierra McGowan (17 points, 7 rebounds) and
Jaycee Cleaver (10 points, 5 assists).
