Box Score Despite trailing by 6 points at halftime, RVC Women's Basketball rallied with a strong second half effort to beat visiting NJCAA DII McHenry County College. The Golden Eagles move to 4-2 on the season.

RVC outscored the Scots 41-22 over the final 20 minutes to secure the victory. The Golden Eagles were fueled by a monster outing from sophomore Tierra McGowan, who finished with 29 points, 19 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots.

"With a young and relatively inexperienced bunch, we need to figure out how to consistently play well for 40 minutes," stated Head Women's Basketball Coach Misty Opat. "I like the way we responded after halftime. We did not play our best basketball in the first half, but we rallied, showed some toughness and togetherness, and got the job done."

Dakota, IL native Jaycee Cleaver had a strong game with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists - all while playing all 40 minutes. Makenna Powell led McHenry with 17 points.
