RVC Women's Basketball won the Lakeland Community College Classic (Kirtland, OH) this weekend with wins over NJCAA DII members Delta College (MI) 76-67, and 66-42 over host school Lakeland Community College (OH). The Golden Eagles improve to 3-2 overall. Sophomore Chrisseesha Clark and Jaycee Cleaver were named to the All-Tournament Team, while Tierra McGowan was named MVP of the tournament.

"It was a great weekend for our program," stated Head Women's Coach Misty Opat. "Between traveling as a group and winning a couple of games over scholarship-level junior colleges, our ladies were able to grow as a group. We still have a ways to go, but we took a step in the right direction."
