W-Soccer: RVC Falls in Region IV Championship
Despite earning the best record in program history, #2-seeded RVC Soccer fell 1-0 to #1-seeded College of DuPage in 2OT. The Golden Eagles finish the year 14-2-2 with its only 2 losses coming at the hands of DuPage.
"It was an incredible match, and we definitely had our opportunities," said Head Women's Soccer Coach
Carrie Barker. "I am very proud of how we played and what we were able to accomplish this season."
DuPage's Miyax Leon scored the match's only goal in the 104th minute.
"Despite the loss, as a team, we fought until the end," said team captain
Sharlee Hofbauer. "We left it all on the field. We have no regrets."
