Volleyball: RVC Takes Down Elgin, Extends Streak to Six
RVC Volleyball handled Elgin Community College on Sophomore Night, beating the Spartans in straight sets - 25-14, 25-13, 25-18. RVC improves to 15-12 on the year while extending their winning streak to six matches. The Golden Eagles are 18-1 in sets over those six wins.
"It was awesome to send our sophomores out in style," stated Head Volleyball CoachÂ
Alyssa King. "It has been a roller coaster of a season in terms of wins and losses. We are riding some positive momentum right now. With the region tournament this weekend, we need to keep this rolling."
Destiny Posley had 10 kills in the win.
Jaycee Cleaver added 26 assists.
Cydney Long paced 3 Golden Eagles in double digit digs with 22.
