Volleyball: RVC Upsets #1 Harper, Beats Elgin at Harper Invite
RVC Volleyball upset #1 ranked NJCAA DIII Harper College in 5 sets - 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 18-25, 15-13. The Golden Eagles handed Harper their first loss of the season despite falling in Palatine in 3 sets earlier in the week. RVC also knocked off Elgin Community College to finish 2-1 on the day at the Harper College Invitational.
"What an exciting day for our program, " stated Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa King. "We have switched a handful of things around in our line-up and it is gradually coming together. Our girls are exhausted. 13 sets over the course of 5 hours is a lot of volleyball, but winning a couple matches makes it all worth while. Hopefully, we can continue to see the fruits of our labor as the region tournament approaches."
