RVC had six players in double-figure scoring led by guards Mo Jackson (Belvidere, IL) and LT Davis (Rockford, IL) with 16 points each. Elijah Williams (Chicago, IL) went 6-8 from the field as he scored 14 points. Kooper Glick (Columbus, IN) scored 12 points (4-6 FG) while Dalton Menke (Winnebago, IL) and Dalton Payton (Byron, IL) chipped in with 11 points and 10 points, respectively.

With the win Rock Valley improves to 19-0 overall and 3-0 in the N4C Conference. Madison College (7-10, 1-2 N4C) was led by Ethan Lurquin with a game-high 25 points (6-10 3PT) in the loss.

"Madison played really hard and are well-coached," head coach Craig Doty said. "I love the scoring balance we had tonight. Our six top scorers all hit double-figures. We have seven guys on our roster who have scored 20 or more points in a game in a Golden Eagle uniform. We defended the perimeter pretty well though the stats do not show it as Madison shot the ball incredibly well from behind the arc, most of those shots highly contested. We get everyone's best shot when they play us and that is a good thing."

Rock Valley shot 31-60 (.517) from the field, 12-30 (.400) from 3PT and 15-20 (.750) from the free throw line.  The Golden Eagles had 17 assists, led by Mo Jackson's 4.

RVC travels to conference rival Joliet Junior College for a 3:00 PM tip-off on Saturday.  The women's game is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM.
