The hottest team in NJCAA DIII volleyball is certainly Rock Valley College.  The Golden Eagles traveled to Morton College on Saturday to play Kankakee Community College and Morton College in back-to-back games and left Cicero, IL with two wins in straight sets.

Against Kankakee, the Golden Eagles won 25-15, 25-17 and 25-21.  Versus the home team, RVC took down Morton 25-10, 25-14, and 25-18.  Rock Valley has now won an unprecedented 15 straight sets dating back their August 31st game at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

"I am proud of our girls as they are seeing their hard work in the preseason pay off," head coach Alyssa Tomei said. "We have asked our team, which is 70% freshman, to grow up really fast.  The transition to the college level is tough and our young squad has really stepped up."

The Golden Eagles (7-2) play at Malcolm X (1-9) on Tuesday in Chicago at 6:00 PM.
