Women's Soccer: Golden Eagles dominate on the road, defeat the Wolves
The Rock Valley College women's soccer team traveled to Joliet Junior College on Friday afternoon and walked away with a convincing 4-0 victory over the Wolves.
RVC improves their record to 5-2 (5-1 N4C) on the season. Joliet falls to 0-8 (0-5 N4C).
The Golden Eagles dominated in all facets of the game having 31 shots on goal compared to just one for Joliet. RVC had 7 corner kicks to JJC's 0.
Aryanna Gelafio got the scoring started for RVC in the first half (31:02) with a goal assisted by
Erin DiSanti.
Vanessa Martinez scored the second goal for Rock Valley in the first half (11:31) assisted by
Macie Berg.
Sadey Jumapao found the net for a third first half goal for RVC with 3:53 left in the half; Berg assisted again on this score.
In the second half Jumapao finished the scoring in the game with her second goal (11:54) with an assist by
Brianna Perez and
Hannah Carlson.
The Golden Eagles stay on the road next week with a contest at Madison College on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
