Women's Soccer: The Golden Eagles fall at College of DuPage
The #6 nationally ranked Rock Valley College women's soccer team traveled to Glen Ellyn, Illinois to play a conference game on Wednesday vs. College of DuPage and lost by the score of 2-0.
RVC had 17 total shots and 4 corner kicks in the contest while adding 11 goalkeeper saves. The halftime score was 0-0 but the Chaparrals scored two quick goals to start the second half (43:42 and 41:01) which would prove to be the only scoring of the game.
The Golden Eagles drop to 4-2 on the season, 4-1 in the N4C conference. College of DuPage, who entered the contest receiving votes in the NJCAA DIII National Poll released today, moves to 7-5 overall.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday with an away contest at Joliet Junior College. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM.
