Volleyball: RVC stays hot, wins at Highland
The Golden Eagles stayed hot on Wednesday night winning a road contest at Highland 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20). The Golden Eagles (4-2) are now 6-0 in their last six sets and boast a perfect road record of 4-0.
"Our girls continue to play consistent on the road and that is a good sign for a young team," head coach
Alyssa Tomei stated. "Our defense has been effective the past two games and our offense has had great balance."
Keifer Zimmerman had 13 kills and 10 digs for RVC.
Makenzie Macek added 12 kills while
Destiny Posley had her best game in a Golden Eagle uniform contributing 10 kills.
Jaycee Cleaver finished with 39 assists and 12 digs while
Kaylee Sommers had 10 digs.
RVC turns around and plays a home conference match vs. Triton College tomorrow night at 6:00 PM on the campus of Rock Valley College.
