Volleyball: #3 ranked Golden Eagles dominate at home vs. Joliet
The Rock Valley College volleyball team continued its hot streak on Tuesday night defeating Joliet Junior College in straight sets. The Golden Eagles outscored the Wolves 75-25 on the evening (25-7, 25-9, 25-9). RVC has won 8 straight matches and has won their last 24 sets.
Against Joliet,
Keifer Zimmerman led the way with 7 kills while
Makenzie Macek had 6 kills. Setter
Jaycee Cleaver had 9 aces for RVC (9-2).
"We continue to play with the sense of urgency needed to take control of matches," RVC Head Volleyball Coach
Alyssa Tomei stated. "We play at home against conference rival and the number two ranked team in NJCAA Division III on Thursday. We look forward to competing with one of the top teams in the country for the conference lead."
Game time on Thursday is set for 6:00 PM on the campus of Rock Valley College. #2 Harper is currently 12-4 on the season.
