RVC women's soccer falls to Waubonsee in season opener
The Rock Valley College women's soccer team fell at home to Waubonsee Community College on Friday in their season opener, 2-0.
The Golden Eagles, who are the defending NJCAA DIII Region IV/District 2 champions, were able to get 18 shots on goal compared to Waubonsee's 14 but were not able to find the net.
RVC takes on Joliet Junior College on Wednesday in their N4C conference opener. The Golden Eagles are led by 2014 Region IV Coach of the year
