In the battle of nationally ranked opponents, RVC women knock off Mid Michigan at home
Box Score Behind a balanced scoring attack which saw four Golden Eagles hit double-figures, #4 RVC took down previously 11-1 Mid Michigan, who is ranked #8 in the NJCAA D3 national poll, by a score of 76-66.

For a third consecutive game
Brianna Davis led Rock Valley in scoring. Davis netted a game-high 18 points (5-10 FG) while handing out a game-high 6 assists.
Tierra McGowan posted a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
Paige Wogen and
Jaycee Cleaver rounded out double-figure scorers for RVC putting in 11 points each.
"We shared the ball well tonight," head coach
Misty Opat stated as RVC dished out a season-high 23 assists in the contest. Their previous season-high was 18 vs. Sauk Valley back on November 24th. "Mid Michigan is a good team. I am proud of how our girls competed for 40 minutes," Opat concluded.
The win pushes RVC to 8-4 on the season while Mid Michigan falls to 11-2 on the year.
The Golden Eagles host Kennedy King on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM on the campus of Rock Valley College.
