The women's basketball program has made a habit of this... For the third time in four years, the Misty Opat led program will receive their national championship rings after their home opener. On Tuesday, the Golden Eagles will play Black Hawk College (Moline, IL) starting at 5:30 PM in the Physical Education Center at Rock Valley College.

The Golden Eagles finished off a 27-7 year last season by defeating Roxbury Communtiy College (Boston, MA) in the national championship game by a score of 80-76 in overtime. The game was held in Bethlehem, PA. Along with three national championships and a national runner-up, Opat currently holds a 151-47 record (.763) at Rock Valley College as the head women's basketball coach.

As part of the ring ceremony where the 2015 NJCAA DIII National Champions will be honored, the Rim Rockers from Milwaukee will perform. To view a preview of their amazing stunts click here.
