"After playing a back-and-forth game on Tuesday against Black Hawk College in which we felt we were lucky to earn the win, our guys had two really good practices in preparation for John Wood," head coach Craig Doty said.  "We took control of the game early and played well for 40 minutes vs. a tradition-rich program on the road."

The Golden Eagles led at halftime 38-25 and the second half was nearly identical in scoring for each team as RVC scored 38 points and John Wood scored 26 in the second frame which led to the 76-51 final in favor of Rock Valley.  RVC won the battle of the boards for the 7th consecutive game (31-29) and had 17 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field (29-55) and a sizzling 53.6% from 3PT (15-28).
